Cape Cobras will appear next in their last pool match against the mighty Kings XI Punjab and that can be another one sided encounter. The former has played three games, managed to win only one and achieved four points whereas the latter has clinched all three encounters they contested and are heading the pool with 12 points. KXIP will try to maintain their pressure which can keep them ruling the table and Cape Cobras will go all out for the victory.

The 12th game of the event between Barbados Tridents and Cape Cobras ended as a tied but the latter won the one-over eliminator. Hashim Amla scored his maiden fifty of the tournament and Richard Levi contributed 39 while their other batsmen are struggling. The bowling department is being looked after by Sybrand Engelbrecht, Charl Langveldt and Vernon Philander.

KXIP demolished the strong team, Northern Districts, by a hefty margin of 120 runs in the previous match. Manan Vohra and Virender Sehwag shared 102 runs for the first wicket and both of them powered fifties while David Miller remained unbeaten on 40. Glenn Maxwell and George Bailey are capable of surprising with the bat while Karanveer Singh, Thisara Perera and Parvinder Awana are dangerous bowlers.
